The third comicification (Eeyup) of the ongoing Tumblr adventure with Filly Lyra
An update to DeviantArt will now take a while since you have reached the current position in the story present on tumblr. The split for Single updates to long pooled comic is fairly even (21 - 17 as of writing) so I'll see how well this one is received, and then try doing individual posts. Time will tell!
Welcome to Ponyville is made in Adobe Photoshop CS5.5 and Adobe Flash CS5, with SAI being used in the final panel.
I don't own ponies, as much as I wish I did. They belong to the magical Bro of Has in the sky.
Also sorry if there is any confusion with the awesomesauce project known as "Welcome to Ponyville", it is just such a simple title and it seemed applicable (at least for this chapter in the story)

Also, have a challenge. Say this in one breath:
“Well you told me my Cutie Mark is to do with music and I know it’s to do with music and my music is all done on a lyre but when I looked at my Cutie Mark I realised that I don’t have my lyre here and it means so much to me I grew up with it and it became my closest friend who I would talk to since Canterlot didn't have many fillies or colts my age to talk to and now I really really really miss it but now i don’t have it with me and I just want it no I don’t want it I need it because without my instrument I just don’t know what to do with myself at all since that is who I am and you've gone really quiet….”
